Getting Started: Is Dorados a legit sweepstakes casino?
Yes, Dorados is a sweepstakes casino that uses a dual-currency model popular among similar sites in the US. The site is operated by Rafflefy Limited, a company registered in Cyprus.

Bonus and Rewards: Sign up for 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Gems, and 2 Elixirs at Dorados
Dorados has a welcome bonus of 20,000 GC, 2 Gems, and 2 Elixirs when you sign up and verify your phone number. You don’t even need a Dorados Casino promo code to claim the welcome offer; it just appears in your balance the first time you open the lobby.
For players familiar with sweepstakes casino lingo, Gems work exactly the same way as Sweeps Coins, so you can use them to play games in sweepstakes mode and redeem them for real prizes after completing the playthrough requirements.
Elixir, on the other hand, is a virtual currency exclusive to Dorados. You can’t use it to play regular games like Gold Coins and Gems, but you can trade it for Gold Coins and bonus spins on the Reward Market.
Signing up to claim the signup bonus only takes a minute: click “Register” on the top right and continue with your Google, Apple or Facebook account or switch to the “Email” tab to enter your email and create a strong password. If you used the email option, you’d need to verify your email with the unique activation link sent to you to access your lobby and claim your bonus.
Besides the complimentary Gold Coins, Gems, and Elixir you get for signing up, Dorados offers a first-purchase bonus where it offers boosted Gold Coin packages only on your initial purchase.
I received two offers after signing up: a $9.99 package with 250,000 Gold Coins, 25 bonus Gems, 1 Claw Machine Credit, and 1 Elixir and a $29.99 offer for 400,000 Gold Coins, 40 bonus Gems, 2 Claw Machine Credits, and 3 Elixirs. If you’re wondering what a Claw Machine Credit is, just keep reading; I’ll discuss it later.
Other bonuses to claim on Dorados
Aside from the welcome bonus, Dorados Casino features several other bonuses offering players more Gold Coins and Gems. Here are some popular promotions to keep an eye out for when playing at the sweepstakes casino:
🚀 Challenges
You can score more virtual currency through daily and weekly challenges on Dorados, which is available to all players right after signing up. The challenges are often simple tasks, such as making a specified number of spins in one game session using Gold Coins or achieving certain outcomes on select slot games. Challenges on Dorados often come with Gold Coins and Elixir, ranging from 50,000 Gold Coins for the daily challenges to around 100,000 Gold Coins for the weekly challenges. The mechanics are simple: opt in for the task, complete it during gameplay, and collect Gold Coins or Elixir when successful.
🏆 Tournaments
Dorados tournaments are contests between players on the site where they compete on specific tasks and collect rewards for participating. An example is the Slot of the Week tournament, a weekly contest that comes with a 1,000 Gems prize pool. The top 10 players split the prize pool unequally, with the first-placed player on the leaderboard receiving a prize of 350 Gems, and other players receiving prizes corresponding to their positions. Most Dorados tournaments use this format, only varying the minimum entry requirement, the prize pool, and the sharing formula for the prizes. I couldn’t find a direct link to the Tournaments section from the homepage. However, clicking the Wheel of Gold or Claw Machine links on the left sidebar takes you to a page where you can switch to the Tournaments tab. The tab houses all ongoing tournaments on Dorados and their terms and conditions, so you can pick one with favorable terms to enter.
🏁 Monthly Race
Players who are more inclined towards Gems would be interested in the Dorados Monthly Race, which is a special tournament where players compete for a 2,500 Gems prize pool. Rather than select a specific slot for the race, as in most other tournaments on Dorados, the sweepstakes casino selects 10 slots from its library for the contest every month. To get on the Monthly Race leaderboard, you’ll have to play a round on any of the qualifying games with 0.5 Gems or more, with the top 10 players splitting the 2,500 Gems prize pool as indicated on the tournament terms and conditions. Dorados ranks players on the leaderboard by their total gameplay, with one point assigned for each Gem played in an eligible game. At the end of the tournament, the first-placed player in the tournament walks home with 450 Gems, with nine others splitting the remainder of the prize pool by their positions on the log.
🎡 Wheel of Gold
I found a Wheel of Gold minigame on Dorados, which uses a wheel of fortune-type mechanic where you can spin a bonus wheel to collect Gold Coin prizes. Prizes on the Wheel of Gold range from 500 Gold Coins to 100,000 Gold Coins. Dorados also occasionally gifts players with Spins during promotions, and you can only hold a maximum of 10 Spins in one account at a time. Once you’ve played enough to get a Spin, just click the “Wheel of Gold” link on the left sidebar to launch the mini-game and start spinning.
🦖 Claw Machine
Remember the Claw Machine Credits I mentioned earlier, here’s where you put it to use. Dorados has a full-on Claw Machine, which you can launch by clicking the “Claw Machine” link on the left sidebar of the sweepstakes casino interface. The Claw Machine contains varying amounts of bonus spins and other prizes. You can play the Claw Machine using Claw Machine Credits, which can be obtained through optional Gold Coin package purchases or by redeeming rewards in the Reward Market. With Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, Reward Points, and Claw Machine Credits all available on the platform, Dorados does have more virtual currencies than most sweepstakes casinos. While this can feel a little overwhelming at first, it becomes easier to navigate once you're familiar with how each virtual currency is used.
👑 VIP Program
Similar to the Crown VIP Club we discussed in our CrownCoins Casino review, Dorados has a VIP program, and it automatically inducts all new players immediately after registration. With time and dedicated gameplay, players can move through the levels up to Level 5, which comes with live chat access, a dedicated VIP manager, a “share of the treasure”, complimentary Elixir to collect rewards, special GC pack purchases, and special birthday gifts. The sweepstakes casino releases the rewards gradually, with some rewards scaling up with your level, like the special purchase package, for example. You don’t need to opt in for the VIP program; the sweepstakes casino will place you automatically and start advancing you through the ranks once you sign up and start playing.

Usability, Look & Feel: Antique, woody interface with good usability
Dorados is one of the most interesting sweepstakes casinos I’ve used recently, as it’s designed from the ground up with a woody and game-like aesthetic. I was particularly impressed by an animation in the lobby, where mud gates close over a game card when you hover your mouse over it. The main interface is woody, with games providing some color accents to complement the look.
Despite this unique design language, Dorados doesn’t compromise on usability, as it makes all crucial interface elements easily reachable, making even the most rookie players feel at home from day one. The site uses a classic sidebar design, with the sidebar carrying small banners advertising the site’s challenges and other promotions alongside links to different sections of the sweepstakes casino.
What’s more, your account options, virtual currency balances, and the search bar are at the top right. There’s an extra area for the main banner just below the header section, but the site has enough room to display its numerous games nonetheless.
My only minor gripe with the site is the placement of the live chat button, which is below the main interface, just before the footer section. Since the site dynamically loads new games as you scroll down, it could take forever to get to the live chat once you click “See All”.
Dorados currently doesn’t have a mobile app, but the site works excellently on both mobile and desktop devices. The site keeps the same interface to a large extent, but the mud gates animation doesn’t work on mobile, which is a bummer. For everything else, however, the sweepstakes casino works basically the same on mobile as it does on desktop, so I didn’t really miss the lack of a mobile app.

Game types: Play slots, table games, live social games, and more
As we saw in our LoneStar Casino review, Dorados features numerous slots, table games, and live social games, segmented into several categories on the site’s lobby. On the top row of the lobby, Dorados has a filter menu for Providers, Top, Tides of Fortune, New, Popular, Exclusive, Live Games, Roulette, Game Shows, Blackjack, Jackpot, Slots, and All Games.
Let’s look into each of Dorados’ major game categories:
Slots
Slots make up most of the games on Dorados, and you can view all of them in one place using the “Slots” button on the top row of the lobby. There’s no official count published on the website, but the available games may easily run into thousands. Dorados uses a convenient mechanism that loads more games as you scroll, and I scrolled for nearly a minute with no end in sight.
The “Providers” link on Dorados reveals 52 providers, so you can expect an excellent diversity in the sweepstakes casino’s slots. However, not all of these providers offer slots, but I found several industry leaders, including Kalamba, Betsoft, NetEnt, 3 Oaks Gaming, and Playson. I played 3 Hot Chillies and Majestic King during this Dorados sweepstakes casino review, and both games worked fine on desktop and mobile phones.
Table games
Clicking the “Table Games” category picker on Dorados opens the site’s table games section, which reveals the leaner table games collection on the sweepstakes casino (compared to the slots category). From my count, Dorados currently features 32 titles, most of which are different variants of blackjack, baccarat, roulette, or poker.
During this review, I played multiple rounds of American Blackjack, Titan Roulette, Caribbean Poker, and Oasis Poker. Unlike many sweepstakes casinos, Dorados includes its social live table games in the general table games section, so you may find some overlap between the games in this section and in the live social games section.
I also found a selection of Scratch & Bingo games, including titles such as The Perfect Scratch, Snow Scratcher, and Summer Scratch. While the collection isn't particularly large, it's a nice addition for players who enjoy quick-play scratchcards and bingo-style entertainment alongside the site's main game offerings.
Social live games
Dorados has about twice as many social live dealer games as table games, which is quite unusual for a sweepstakes casino. This category looks very similar to its table games library, as most titles are variants of blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and poker. However, the assortment here is better, as you’ll find variations of games like Sic Bo, Dice, and Craps.
I played Gravity Blackjack, Gravity Roulette, and Big Baller Monopoly Live to test Dorados, and the games played fine with decent audio and high-quality video. If you’d rather see a real human dealer for your table games, the Dorados social live dealer category should work better for you.

Payment Methods: Purchase optional Gold Coin bundles and redeem Gems for real prizes
As I’ve indicated earlier in this Dorados sweepstakes casino review, the site offers Gold Coins bundles that you can purchase for more Gold Coins with bonus Gems and Elixir. The sweepstakes casino lists two card checkout options for non-mandatory GC bundle purchases: Visa or Mastercard. Both methods are for credit and debit cards, but the “Pay by Card” option uses an external payment processor that opens in an entirely new window.
Dorados also lets you collect “Redeemable Gems” when you play the sweepstakes casino’s games using Gems. You can then redeem your eligible Gems for real prizes to a designated payment method when you accumulate the minimum threshold of 50 Gems. If you saw our SpinQuest Casino review, you’d remember it uses a similar model for Sweeps Coins redemptions.
To start redeeming your Gems after meeting the playthrough requirements, click “Redeem” above the “Get Gold” option on the left sidebar.
Customer Support: 24/7 for all registered players
One of my first observations on Dorados is the stellar customer support. The platform lists 24/7 live chat support as a VIP perk, but there's a catch—in a good way. This benefit is available from Level 1, which is where every player starts after registering. That means you don't need to climb the VIP ladder to access assistance; you can use Dorados' round-the-clock live chat support as soon as you create your account.
Moreover, Dorados features a dedicated Help Center where you can access frequently asked questions and answers about any aspect of the site, including prize redemptions, purchases, and bonuses. There’s also a support email if you’re not a fan of the live chat window, and there’s a separate “Guide” section where you can read guides and watch videos to learn how the site works.
There’s not much to complain about with the customer support experience on Dorados. The live chat doesn’t automatically connect you to an AI bot, which I appreciate, and it shows a visual queue count when you send a request. I never had to wait more than a few seconds in the queue for any live chat request; that should count for something.
Verdict: Claim various bonuses to play slots, table games, and live casino games on Dorados
Over the years, sweepstakes casinos have become largely boring, all offering similar interfaces, bonuses, and games. Dorados creatively switches it up with many creative elements that make it fun to play at a sweepstakes casino again.
New players get the long end of the stick with a signup bonus of 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Gems, and 2 Elixirs. To make it even better, you can claim a first purchase bonus of boosted GC packages exclusively for new players. There are also several bonuses for existing players on Dorados, including daily and weekly challenges, tournaments, and even for the Claw Machine.
These bonuses give you access to numerous slots, table games, and live dealer titles from various providers, making them worthwhile. To collect these bonuses and play the games on Dorados, click the banners on this page to register today.
