Curaçao leak names paper owners behind Stake, 1xBet and Blaze

Published investigation maps about 800 beneficial owners across nearly 650 licensed firms.

On paper, Stake sits with Serbian Mladen Vuckovic at Medium Rare NV, who declared assets above $1B. Public founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani stay off the application — even as CGA staff flagged large related-party flows tied to them. 

1xBet’s Caecus NV lists Ukrainian Ihor Hniedash as CEO and owner — his declared income is under €10M a year. The Russians commonly named as founders have no documented link to him in the files. 

Blaze’s Prolific Trade NV names Dutch Nick van Gorsel (€800M declared) and American Nicholas Beugg (€500M). The CGA did not dispute that licences went out with ownership questions open. It cited a transition under the 2024 gambling law.

The Curacao license allows offshore work in different markets. Blask maps data about grey markets where Stake, 1xBet, and Blaze have the largest CEB. 

From August 2025 to August 2026, Stake’s highest offshore CEB is in Canada at $2.0B. Japan ($401.6M) and India ($376.9M) take second and third place. 

1xBet’s offshore CEB is led by the United States at $524M (the brand does not accept users from this country but gets high level of search demand). Russia ($426.1M) and Egypt ($232.9M) follow in the same window.

Blaze is a five-country map in Blask. Brazil is the only onshore market and holds $162.2M CEB. Among the four offshore geos, the United States leads at $34.4M, while the brand does not accept players from this country.

Blask cut shows where Stake, 1xBet and Blaze have the highest potential revenue without a local licence. All these brands have their biggest CEB in tier-1 countries, United States or Canada.
