Georgia’s iGaming demand cools 15.9% after a political year

Through a political year in Georgia Blask Index steps down on an onshore shelf.

Georgia’s political cycle ran from the foreign-influence fight into 2025. The October 2024 election, the November pause of EU accession talks through 2028, and months of street pressure kept protests in the headlines. In March–April 2025, a new foreign-agents push added more civic friction.

Blask Index for September 2025–August 2026 sits 15.9% below the same window a year earlier. CEB stays above 93% licensed. Tracked brands rise from the low 40s into the high 50s.

Demand held a high 2024 plateau, spiked with the March 2025 political heat, then broke in April. From mid-2025 into August 2026 the Index steps down, finishing well below the same month a year earlier. The CEB stays firmly onshore and tightens further as attention cools.

For June–August 2026, Adjarabet leads BAP at 34.9%. Crystalbet and Crocobet fill most of the rest of the top shelf.

Georgia cools in steps on a licensed market. Political noise cuts demand while the onshore share stays dominant.
