Blask data shows October as the global peak of iGaming activity
Blask data highlights a clear seasonal pattern in global iGaming demand: October consistently emerges as the industry’s strongest month worldwide.

Drawing on activity data from 107 countries, the analysis shows that October ranked as the busiest month in 37 markets, including major jurisdictions such as Italy, Mexico, and the Philippines. December followed closely behind, leading in 22 markets, while September topped the rankings in 16 countries.

The pattern points to a familiar but now quantifiable driver: football.
October sits at the intersection of packed domestic calendars, multiple Champions League rounds, international fixtures, and decisive stages of continental tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores. Together, these overlapping schedules create a sustained demand peak that outperforms even the holiday-driven uplift seen in December.
Blask’s data also underscores that seasonality is not uniform.
While December benefits from holidays and extended leisure time — particularly in markets like France, Denmark, and South Korea — September’s spikes reflect the renewed engagement that accompanies the start of the football season in countries such as Spain, Nigeria, and Malaysia.
The rankings are powered by Blask’s Seasonality widget within Blask Index Trends, which aggregates monthly market activity and visualizes demand through daily and hourly heat maps. The dataset covers market behavior from early 2024 through to the present.
