Paf agrees a Swiss Facebook ads pilot as offshore CEB sits at 19.7%

Paf sat down with Facebook over Swiss licence files.

On 30 September, Paf chief business development officer Jesper Eliasson told an SBC Summit Lisbon panel that the company had that day agreed a Switzerland pilot with Facebook. Paf will share licence documents and URLs for operators and affiliates, so Meta can tell who may target Swiss players.

Paf is an Åland-controlled operator and the technology partner behind mycasino.ch.

Earlier, the Dutch trade body had summoned Meta to the Amsterdam District Court. The filing asks a court to force tighter filters, while the Swiss pilot starts with a file exchange.

Switzerland blocks unlicensed domains at the ISP, and Meta requires authorisation plus local-licence evidence before a gambling ad can run. Eliasson said work starts in early October and that Paf wants the Swiss regulator in the room.

Blask data puts offshore at about a fifth of Swiss monthly CEB from September 2025 through September 2026, and the latest month closed at 19.7%.

Unlicensed search shrank faster. Offshore Blask Index share fell from 23.6% to 18.3% over the same window.

Bet365 is the only offshore operator in the top-tier list by BAP in Switzerland.

Paf is handing Meta a way to sort that leftover fifth from the licensed majority, on a platform domain blocks do not touch.
