Wildz Group says it won Finland’s first gambling licence

One of the Wildz’ Group brands is already among the top five in Finland.

Wildz Group said on 15 October 2026 that Finland’s National Police Board approved a five-year gambling licence from 1 July 2027. The National Police Board handles licensing until June 2027, when the new Gambling Act opens online betting and casino to competition beside Veikkaus. The group did not say which casino brands would sit on the permit; and by mid-October the board had not published a list of approved operators.

Five of the seven Wildz Group names appear in Blask: Wildz, Caxino, Wheelz, Spinz, and Chipz. Tuplaus and Blingi are absent. All five already draw measurable Finnish search interest as offshore operators.

Wildz led the portfolio through the year. Blask data shows its Finnish Blask Index rose about 30% YoY through September 2026, with a December 2025 spike. Caxino more than doubled in the same window — the steepest gain among the sister brands on the chart.

Wildz ranked fifth by BAP in September 2026, ahead of Bet365 on the offshore shelf. Caxino sat inside the national top 12 in the same month. Spinz, Wheelz, and Chipz remained far down the ranking.

Veikkaus still took 53.3% of September BAP as the onshore monopoly. Wildz built offshore share long before the licence takes effect.
