Thailand’s URL blocks leave the top three without a successor

M98 kept first place as the three old leaders’ combined hold thinned to nearly half.

On 5 October, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society restricted 945 075 online gambling URLs from October 2025 through September 2026. Officials plan to work with search engines so gambling sites and related pages are harder to find.

Blask data for that month puts the combined branded-search share of M98, JUN88 and UFABET at 27.8%, down from 52.2% a year earlier. Those points spread across the rest of the ranking.

Although branded demand fell, the top-tier list is still filled with the same three brands.

UFABET’s share broke in October 2025, M98 stepped down in March, and JUN88 began a steady decline in June.

On 15 August the Economic Crime Suppression Division announced the arrest of an administrator in Nakhon Pathom province who cleared deposits and withdrawals for an 11-brand network that included that operator and TH26. Police said day-to-day control of the network had shifted from Poipet to Thailand in February, after raids in Cambodia. August, the month of the arrest, already showed the top three at 28.7%.

Branded demand fell 36.3% from September 2025, while CEB fell 12.7%. Search had already eased by May and CEB held until June.
