Only Stake is back online, because it took this case to court.
On 8 October 2026, the 9th Federal Civil Court in São Paulo ordered the block on stake.bet.br lifted until 25 October, or until another ruling.
Brazil’s betting ban, measure 1.394/2026, took every licensed site offline on 6 October, but ends licenses only on 25 October. So Stake took this case to the court — as a result, the state cannot cut Stake off early.
This does not cancel the ban. The judge refused Stake’s request to operate until 31 December 2029, the original end of the license. Exame reported the order as the first a licensed operator has received since the shutdown.
Until 25 October, Stake cannot launch new ads or signup bonuses. But players still can top up their balance and withdraw money. In other words, Stake can work as earlier, but without aggressive marketing.
In September, Stake ranked 62nd of 512 brands by BAP. Although Stake is not a big brand in Brazil, it is the only operator that went to court to stay in the market.

The names at the top of that chart stay on the 6 October shutdown.
