Olimpbet is the only licensed brand with measurable demand in Uzbekistan

Licensed demand barely moved in the first full month after licensing; in the second, one of the two operators reached the top three.

Uzbekistan allowed online gambling from January 2025 but issued no licenses until July 31, 2026, when Olimpbet and Aurum Vale, which operates Oltinbet, received the first two. Until then, the 73 brands Blask tracked in the country in June were all offshore.

In August licensed brands held 0.6% of demand measured by Blask Index, almost all of it Olimpbet’s. In September Olimpbet’s Blask Index grew fourteenfold while the market as a whole shrank 7%. The brand went from 18th place by demand to third, past Mostbet and 1win, which both lost share, and licensed demand reached 9.5% with Olimpbet accounting for almost all of the increase.

Projected revenue lagged behind demand. Olimpbet’s CEB, Blask’s forecast of what a brand should earn, rose from $0.05M in August to $0.47M in September and lifted it from 32nd place to ninth, in a market that generated $20M, of which 1xBet alone accounted for $5.7M.

Licensing has so far given Uzbekistan one brand with demand and a second with almost none, and that demand has not turned into projected revenue at the same rate.
