One year passed: how Blask became the iGaming industry’s real-time compass.
One year ago a handful of Blask engineers stared at a paper map with five push-pins.
The goal was audacious yet simple: “Show every brand where its market position should be before the quarter is even over.”
That first beta went live on 15 May 2024. Twelve months later those five pins have multiplied into 57 live markets, and the Market Overview dashboard has evolved into the industry’s go-to barometer.
💡 We promised to turn market noise into decisive next steps, not another spreadsheet.

Now, with the birth of Blask brands can transform how they understand their market position.
Blask turns search data and market signals into actionable insights, delivering real-time market intelligence that empowers iGaming operators, affiliates, and suppliers to make data-driven decisions.
Product: building the metrics and features that matter.
The early adopters loved the daily Blask Index, but they wanted context. So the product team built a family of forward-looking metrics that decode why a brand wins — or lags.
- Blask Index serves as the synonym for market volume, tracking even the slightest changes in people’s interest in the iGaming industry. If the iGaming market expands or shrinks, Blask Index instantly reflects this change. Now available with an hourly granularity.
- Brand Accumulated Power (BAP) measures a brand’s raw influence within its market context, serving as the backbone for other calculations.
- Acquisition Power Score (APS) evaluates how effectively a brand’s market presence converts into new customers. This AI-driven metric provides a realistic benchmark by analyzing search trends, social media engagement, affiliate activity, and competitive positioning.
- Competitive Earning Baseline (CEB) projects the revenue a brand can capture in a given market. Unlike traditional revenue metrics tied to historical data, CEB adopts a future-focused perspective, leveraging AI and external signals to establish realistic revenue expectations.
The year also brought two major product expansions:
- Customer Profile — launched across all markets, this AI-powered tool provides detailed demographic and behavioral insights about players in each country. To ensure maximum accuracy, we validated the AI model’s predictions against over 80,000 real survey responses, delivering reliable data on age distributions, income levels, gaming motivations, and preferred touchpoints
- Games — released in beta for 5 key markets, this module tracks detailed insights into which games and game providers are present and perform best in specific regions.

Adoption: when the market validates your vision.
As our metric stack deepened, usage exploded.
From affiliates to operators, Blask has become the core layer of market intelligence across the ecosystem. Affiliates now use Blask to enter high-growth regions before the crowd, discover untapped game trends, and choose partners based on real-time performance, not assumptions.
Meanwhile, operators rely on the platform to monitor their brand health, benchmark against competitors, and localize strategies with precision.
The result? Higher ROI, fewer missteps, and strategies tailored to the hour, not the quarter.

💡 “Our favorite KPI is still a browser tab that never closes. That’s when a tool becomes a second screen”, — Greg Penkov, Chief Revenue Officer
Design: turning complexity into two-minute insights.
Behind the scenes, our design team rebuilt the interface so that any professional — analyst or not — can land on insight in under two minutes.
The challenge wasn’t just making data informative, but intuitive. We aimed to make every action self-explanatory, every chart positioned where users naturally expect it. The result is a system where complex market intelligence feels as simple as checking social media.
💡 “We don’t design dashboards; we design moments of clarity. Every click should feel like the natural next step toward insight.” — Nick Fadeev, Chief Design Officer

Marketing: from industry whispers to expo stages.
Fresh hourly data let Blask comment on market swings while they were still news, fueling thought-leadership and lead-flow.
The partnership with NEXT.io exemplified this strategy — combining Blask’s live data with industry expertise to create research that couldn’t be replicated elsewhere.
Stage appearances at major industry events established Blask’s credibility beyond just the platform. Recognition through awards at SiGMA Asia and the Starlet Awards validated the company’s growing influence in iGaming analytics.
The Blask blog and social media have evolved from company news and product guides into a media outlet read by acknowledged experts in the iGaming industry. Our market reviews, player profile comparisons, and analytical materials are widely shared and reposted.
People & culture: scaling without stretching.
Hyper-growth can break culture; Blask chose to bend it instead.
The team expanded dramatically from 18 to 80 people within a single year. Now we are shifting from rapid hiring to what we call “precision hiring” — being more selective while maintaining cultural fit.
Blask implemented salary-band audits to ensure transparent compensation and career progression. The engineering team now operates under formal performance-review cycles with clear development pathways.
The focus shifted from simply filling seats to building sustainable talent pipelines that preserve the company’s core values while meeting ambitious expansion goals.
💡 “We scale people like we scale products: thoughtfully, systematically, and always with quality ahead of quantity.” — Ilya Kuryakov, COO

The road ahead — redefining what’s possible.
In twelve months, we’ve traveled from a five-pin vision to reinventing iGaming analytics entirely. We’ve proven that real-time market intelligence isn’t just possible — it’s essential.
The next chapter is about global coverage. We’re adding new countries monthly with the ambitious goal of covering every iGaming market worldwide.
💡 Max Tesla closes with a promise:
“Year two is about tighter resolution: deeper data, faster insight, zero guesswork.”
