Top casino games in Portugal: classic European shelf with few surprises

SBC Summit is back in Lisbon at month-end. The host market’s casino shelf is worth reading before the floor opens.

Blask tracks 10 562 casino games across 90 brands serving Portugal, a licensed remote market whose regulator lists slots, tables, live, and “Saque ou Crash” among authorised fortune-game types. Slots take almost 85% of content share.

Chicken Road (InOut Games) and Aviator (Spribe) led Share of Interest among the top casino games in Portugal in July 2026, the latest closed month: two crash games at the top of player search, on a shelf built for slots.

The Portuguese casino shelf

Brands serving Portugal have assembled a European-looking catalog: franchise slots on the front rail, live as a second layer, crash as a thin third. Visibility, genre mix, and provider share each describe a different cut of that shelf.

Visibility

Gates of Olympus 1000 (Pragmatic Play) leads Visibility as of September 2026, just over 63%. Four Pragmatic Play titles sit in the top ten, including High Flyer, the studio’s crash product on that list. Amusnet’s 20 Golden Coins and Playson’s Thunder Coins XXL: Multicoin hold the familiar mid-rail slot seats.

The rest of the ten comes from houses that seldom headline a European ranking: Red Rake Gaming, Snowborn Games, Darwin Gaming, and Just for the Win.

Widen the view to twenty and Pragmatic Play adds four more slots, Darwin Gaming adds three crash titles beside Wasabi Whiskers. Five crash games sit in the Visibility top twenty, from a genre that occupies about 3% of the catalog.

Genre share

Slots hold 84.83% of content share across those 90 brands. Live is the only other genre with real catalog weight, at 6.37%. Crash is third, at 3.27%. Roulette, table games, dice, and blackjack trail in fractions of a percent.

The Visibility ranking showed where that thin crash layer is spent: two titles in the top ten, five in the top twenty. Operators kept crash thin in the catalog and high on the grid.

Provider share

Pragmatic Play leads content share at 14.79%, more than double Hacksaw Gaming in second. BGaming and Endorphina sit next, then Playtech and Evolution. Darwin Gaming ranks 45th among 362 providers, at 0.48% content share, while four of its crash titles sit inside the Visibility top twenty.

Historical share of interest

Aviator owned Portuguese game search through 2023, with shares in the thirties at the start of the series, then faded as Sweet Bonanza took a larger slice of demand. The Pragmatic title even outranked Aviator in October 2024, before the Spribe game returned to the top through winter into February 2025.

In March 2025 Chicken Road overtook both; by April its share rose above 24%, and it spent the rest of the year as the default search. Chicken Road 2.0 arrived in spring 2025 and carved out a second crash slice, peaking in the mid-teens in October–November 2025 without unseating the original.

January 2026 was the high-water mark for Chicken Road, at about a third of measurable interest. That grip loosened through spring, and July brought the original back to the top of the table.

Top casino games by share of interest (July 2026)

Chicken Road led July 2026 at 17.9%, with Aviator second at 12.1%. Together they account for about 30% of tracked search among 98 games. Sweet Bonanza is the first slot, and Chicken Road 2.0 sits fourth. Pragmatic Play fills much of the rest of the ten.

Book of Dead (Play’n GO) sits at fifth place as a long-running search habit. Neither Chicken Road nor Aviator appears in the Visibility top twenty.

Bottom line

Portugal will greet SBC Summit with a slot catalog that puts a few crash products high on the grid, including four Darwin Gaming titles from a house with less than 0.5% content share. Player search has chosen its crash pair. Whether Chicken Road’s July rebound is a new plateau or a one-month bounce after a spring fade is the next data point the market will read.
