What’s new in Blask? June 2025 🚀

This month, we’re rolling out a major evolution of Blask Games, designed to give you a comprehensive, layered understanding of how casino games appear across operator websites.

From benchmarking by country to validating visibility for individual game titles, this release turns game position data into actionable insight for every stakeholder.

🎯 A multi-level view of game visibility

Blask Games introduces three distinct levels of analysis, allowing you to explore how games are placed across operators, markets, and individual brands:

  • Operator-level
    See every game a specific casino operator features — across all pages and in the lobby. You’ll also get granular rankings via Game Visibility Rank (GVR) and Lobby GVR.

  • Country-level
    Understand the aggregated picture: how many brands promote a game, total impressions in lobbies, and how that game ranks overall in the market.

  • Game-level
    Zoom in on a specific game to see which casinos feature it, where it appears on each site, and how visible it really is. Want to know what drives visibility?

Together, these layers give you full-spectrum visibility from the macro market view down to individual page placements.

📊 New metrics & logic, built for clarity

To make this system consistent and fair, we introduced two core metrics:

  • Game Visibility Rank (GVR) shows how a game ranks against others on any page.
  • Lobby GVR ranks the game specifically on lobby pages.

Other improvements:

  • A maximum of 100 games are analyzed per page.
  • If a game appears multiple times, only its highest placement is counted.
  • Horizontally scrollable carousels (not visible by default) are excluded.
  • Games must have a unique branded logo to be tracked — ensuring accurate identification.

🌐 Wider coverage, deeper insight

Blask now tracks game positions across all supported countries, not just the biggest names. In addition to major operators, we cover medium-sized and smaller brands—ensuring the majority of traffic is represented.

💼 Why it matters

  • Game providers
    Can now benchmark where their games are most visible, which titles are gaining traction, and how their visibility evolves over time and markets.
  • Casino operators
    Gain a clearer picture of how well they’re promoting top games—both in the lobby and across other areas of the site — and can optimize game layout accordingly.
  • Account managers
    Can confirm whether operator partners are delivering on promotional agreements (e.g., placing a game near the top). Note: exact spot tracking (e.g., 2nd vs. 4th place) is on the roadmap.

📈 A better way to explore data

The new Blask Games interface makes it easier to understand and act on game visibility insights:

  • Interactive visualizations: See GVR trends over time by brand or by page.
  • Sortable tables: Organize games by GVR, lobby presence, page count, and more.
  • Quick toggles: Seamlessly move between operator, country, and game views.

🛠 Small June improvements

Not everything this month was about Blask Games. We also delivered two quick enhancements:

  • SoI widgets now skip daily granularity to avoid empty graphs.
  • The tables now include visible date labels for each metric, improving clarity and context.
