Search demand in the Philippines passed Brazil for the first time while Latin America’s largest licensed market was winding down.
Brazil had led the Philippines on Blask Index every month through August 2026. On 28 September the Chamber of Deputies published Provisional Measure 1394/26, ending new deposits on licensed platforms while Philippine search was still closing the gap.
In September 2026 the Philippines ranked first among all countries on Blask Index, ahead of Brazil and India. Demand rose 8% month on month while Brazil fell 9%; versus September 2025 the gap is +87% against −31%.

PlayTime, Casino Plus and Bingo Plus account for more than half of Philippine search share in the month. The rank change is demand-only. CEB (projected revenue) for September puts Brazil 53% ahead of the Philippines, with 97% of Brazilian CEB onshore against 62% in the Philippines — so the archipelago converts a smaller share of heavier per-capita search into money than the market it just passed.
Brazil’s September slide in search ran ahead of the 6 October switch-off, when the justice ministry reported the first day without authorized betting platforms online. The Philippines took the global demand crown in the same window.
