Greentube, the iGaming subsidiary of the Austrian giant, acquires Czech local operator Kingsbet ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
Greentube, the digital gaming subsidiary of Austrian gaming group NOVOMATIC, announced the acquisition of Kingsbet CZ, a licensed iGaming operator in the Czech Republic. The deal, which is yet to receive regulatory approval, marks Greentube’s first direct B2C operation in the country.
Greentube currently owns B2C brands across five regulated European iGaming markets: StarVegas and AdmiralBet in Italy and Spain, Admiral Casino in the UK, Admiral.ro in Romania, and StarGames in Germany. NOVOMATIC also directly owns the QuiGioco brand in Italy.
Kingsbet in numbers
Kingsbet launched in June 2024, ahead of UEFA Euro 2024. It was one of the first operators licensed under the Czech Republic’s updated regulatory framework.
According to Blask data, Kingsbet is the #13 brand in the Czech Republic by its share in the country’s iGaming demand, measured by BAP (brand’s accumulated power). As of April 2026, Kingsbet’s BAP was 0.8%, roughly at the same level as in June 2024.
In absolute values, the brand’s Blask Index (metric for demand) in April 2026 was also almost the same as in June 2024, and around 40% lower compared to its peaks in December 2024 and December 2025.

The market Kingsbet competes in
The Czech Republic is the #25 iGaming market in the global Blask rankings by the amount of the projected revenue (CEB). With the CEB of $1.84B in the last 12 months, it sits between Spain and Greece.

The Czech market has a high level of channelization. According to Blask data, in April 2026 locally licensed brands accounted for 92% of the country’s CEB and 94.4% of its Blask Index.
Top five operators control 74.5% of the total country’s iGaming demand. The largest of them is Tipsport with BAP at almost 40.4%.

New tournament, new owner
Kingsbet launched nearly two years ago ahead of a major football event. In that time, it held its ground without disrupting the market leaders. The operator changes ownership just several weeks before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This time it will be backed by one of Europe’s largest gaming groups.
