The offshore brand that topped Turkey on queries did not hold that slot.
Merit King’s Blask Index in Turkey fell 56% month on month in August 2026, the sixth consecutive drop from February’s peak. Nesine moved into first place as other offshore brands absorbed the queries.
Turkey keeps private casinos and unlicensed books outside the legal channel: sports betting is a state monopoly under Law 7258, and books without that mandate are illegal betting. Blask data for Turkey iGaming still puts 85.2% of August search and 83.8% of CEB (Competitive Earning Baseline, projected revenue) with offshore brands. Iddaa and Nesine are the only licenced names in the August top ten; the rest of that list is offshore. The country’s overall Index slipped 7% from July, which leaves Merit King’s print as a brand event.
The queries stayed in that pool. Matbet and Marsbahis more than doubled from 17th and 20th; Casibom, another offshore regular, did not join that rebound.

Search moved faster than money. Merit King’s Turkish CEB was $74M in August, down 19% from July, and Jojobet overtook it on projected revenue from fifth place on search. Almost all of the brand’s global CEB still sits in Turkey, so the print is a home-market event.
August moved search between offshore brands faster than it moved CEB onto the licensed sportsbooks. The book that collects Turkish queries is still the unlicensed one; the name sitting on top of it is unstable.
