The brand that used to run Indonesian gambling search now sits clearly second.
NanasToto led every month of 2024. Bobatoto overtook it in October 2025 and still held first place in August 2026.
Indonesia has no licensed online casino or sportsbook. A 2023 Kominfo instruction frames online gambling as a target for eradication, and enforcement has not slowed: Komdigi has blocked more than 8.8 million gambling sites since 2017, almost four million of them in the two years to September 2026.
Indonesian offshore market is large. Over the twelve months to August 2026 country ranks 14th worldwide by CEB, ahead of France and the Netherlands. Most of the operating brands are domestic: six of the August top ten operate in three markets or fewer, and 1xBet, present in 123 geos, is the only global name among them.
Through 2026 search demand has stayed inside a narrow band while CEB climbed almost every month, from $245M in January to $347M in August — the highest print in the series. Positions inside that band moved more than the total: Bobatoto extended its lead, and 1xBet went from low single digits in January to 13.2% of search in July.

The climb has continued since. Through the first three weeks of September 1xBet holds 22.6% of Indonesian search — four times its August share, and second only to Bobatoto. Search leadership, though, has not produced the same order by CEB.

Bola88 draws nearly as much August CEB as Bobatoto on a sixth of its queries. The toto brands own the traffic; the sportsbook names convert it at a far higher rate per query.
Two years of takedowns cut access to millions of sites while the demand behind them reassembled around domestic brands. The one global operator in that pack is now taking share from them, and none of the CEB involved reaches a licensed channel.
